Have lived and worked in various northeastern states and am fortunate to now reside alongside Little Bay, an estuary between the Piscataqua River and Great Bay. Little Bay is approximately 6,000 acres and borders the Great Bay National Wildlife Refuge and the towns of Newington, Durham, and Dover (New Hampshire Seacoast area). Local scenes, nature, 2 Weimaraners (one mature, with a sense of humor and one enjoying puppyhood), and a capricious English Setter are the most frequent targets of my Nikon D300. (Occasionally a photo taken in the area of New Hampshire's Great North Woods will slip into the mix as well as an occasional vacation photo.)
I'm also converting some old 35 mm slides, negatives, and photos to digital format.
My goals are to share the sights I see with Shutterchance members/visitors, generate a few smiles, improve my skills with a camera, and see the world through the lenses of the cameras of other shutterchance members. Be prepared for an occasional whimsicle explanation for a few of my photos. A short quote may complement the scene; hopefully enhancing your visit.
